MONTELANUZA

The Monte Lanuza Cove is located next to the Lanuza Cove, and both coves receive the name El Alto de Lanuza, parallel to the coastline.

LANUZA

Rustic beach, with a medium occupation level and golden sand and gravel. It is a fine windy beach, with a moderate swell.

The Lanuza Cove is located in the north of the Baeza Cove, separated by a breakwater and made up of dark sand, without available services.

The Baeza Cove, also called D’Or or La Merced, is a cove of dark sand that is located in a semi-urban area.

CUARTEL

Virgin beach, with a low occupation level. It is a windy beach, with a moderate swell.

Small Cove that offers splendid swimming and sunbathing conditions. Clean and transparent waters, fine golden sand very nice to the touch. It is ideal for the youngest, since it is a place protected against swells which has not very deep waters. It offers several services. It is easily accessible, but the parking spaces are limited. It is a very popular cove during the summer. It is located near the Punta del Cañon and the Terreros Castle , with a superb view of the coastline and specially of its cliffs and the Negra and Terreros islands. It is worth a visit.

ALMADRABA / CALA BLANCA

It is a small gravely beach located opposite a residential area of El Campello, El Pueblo Español, and next to the Archaeological Site of L’Illeta. It is not very far from the centre, it has been recently fitted out and offers some services, as for example lifeguards. This beach combines a calm family atmosphere with the closeness to the leisure centre located in the promenade and to the urban and shopping centre.

BANYETS DE LA REINA

CARRER LA MAR

In the south of the marina, we find this extensive beach, recently renovated, which offers games, sports and a great number of activities that represent a perfect lure. On the south side, small breakwaters form small inlets, very protected against winds and swells.

Next to La Atalaya de la Torre de L’Illeta and the Fishing Port, we find this wide beach, recently renovated, with fine golden sand. It is complemented with an “ Accessible Beach ”. This runs parallel to the promenade, more than 1 kilometre long, a completely pedestrian promenade that represents the tourist centre with many well-know restaurants, hotels, cafes, etc. and a meeting point of the people from this town. During the summer period, it offers any kind of leisure activities as concerts, cinema, library on the beach, children’s entertainment, craft markets, etc. that together with the “Virgen del Carmen” Festivals, on July 16 th, a traditional and moving popular celebration in honour of the sailors’ virgin, create a perfect lure.

The heart of Carrer del Mar, which gives name to this beach, is located two kilometres away from the town of El Campello. It is here where in the past the fishermen’s neighbourhood was located and nowadays this area the most tourist area of this town is situated.
